Engine and drive train installed. Increased firewall clearance by sweating in some 1/2 copper 90* on the heater core. Bent the expansion valve down at about 45*. Tapped the heater inlet at the pump housing with 3/8 NPT to 5/8 hose also tapped the fitting at the head with a 5/8 90* much better than the weird hose Mercedes used.

Installed flexible dipstick tube. The Jeep heater system required a bypass system due to the design of the water pump. Without a bypass the pressure would damage the water pump when they thermostat was closed. The Mercedes WP does not require a bypass due to its bypass design, this allowed me to install a simple normally closed mono valve significantly simplifying the system and freeing up space.

Well it's driving. No more overheating issue's! Broke down and called Novak about their now radiator. Bottom line they talked me into it, so glad they did. With the AC on the temp has not passed 210* (95-98* outside). This is great considering I'm probably 90hp over stock. Louvered fin, duel pass with inlet and outlet on the correct side. Strangely enough there are still small constant bubbles in the overflow? Oh well.
No vacuum to the new mono valve. I must have pulled the line somewhere.
Will be running the crank case gasses back to the intake.
Cut the hood open for the intercooler and took it for a drive.....It is a beast....turbo kicks in hard at 1900rpm and boost jumps to 16-17psi immediately. Wastegate is set to 22psi and it pulls hard all the way. With a makeshift cardboard box scoop EGTs are at least 200* less then before. Without scoop they are about 100* less, I'd geuss less back pressure from the Holset is helping regardless of intercooler.
John Deer Bosch alternator with smaller pulley has helped alot with amperage at idle, the fans not having to work as hard has helped also.
Some have said 250-300hp. I think thats a bit high, I'd guess 200-220hp, no idea what torque may be. I'll be dyno'ing it soon.
