Chevy Cummins swap help! (Motor Mounts)
Ok well, I am abandoning the idea of swapping my 1996 f150 cab on my 1991 Dodge frame. Instead I am going to buy a 1994 Crew Cab Chevy dually off of a friend. It has a D max in it right now, but that will be pulled and a 1991 Non IC Cummins and Getrag will be swapped into that truck.
I did some research on motor mounts (well I didn't my friend did) and he said he found that people used the Dodge motor mounts, notched them some where, and they worked on the Chevy frame. Has anybody heard of this? Thanks!
If not, what are some good motor mounts that are on the cheaper side? I've seen some on eBay for $90. I will be doing a SAS so the Cummins can go in. I don't this it will with the IFS.

When I did my 88 c3500 i used the stock 93 dodge mounts and cut the chevy motor mounts off down to the crossmember and it worked great, good height and no issues with them. I now have a 95 c3500 4x4 that someone started and could not finish and they used the $$ autoworld mounts, for the $$ i saved using the stock ones the extra hour i spent locating it was worth it.
