i would say ya. i think i read on here that an iron 4 weighs in the neighborhood of 1200 lbs. a little less for the aluminum. a 6-71 is around 2000. both give or take depending on block type and the amount of junk hangin' off of it.
these engines are just large.
it'd be pretty cool tho, if you can get it shoe-horned in there

Aw, hell yes; love the sound of a screaming jimmy.
Apparently, a 4-53 weighs 1110lbs; a 6V53, 1485lbs; 4-71 is 1780, 6-71 is up around 2190. (And a 6V71 is a tiny bit lighter at 2010.) Weighs from here; doesn't say whether aluminium or iron, so I'd assume they're the best-case weights. (Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.)
