Has anyone used the Mercedes 2.7L from a Sprinter van in a conversion? I am looking to repower a 1968 Dodge D200 Crew Cab Camper Special. need help and advice

 

Neat Big Ole Truck. You might be better of finding a 4BT. I do not know much of anything but for myself I would like to stay away from all of the electronic stuff.

 

I'm doing a 2.5 MB, but if I were to do it over I would go with a OM617 instead. You have to have alot of custom fabrication. Machine shops in this area that are still in business are too busy to do "Onesies" and that causes delays.

I have stepped down this diesel from electrical to mechanical, but you can't do it with all mb 5 cyl.
