Are you hooking air back up? Didn't know if that was possible with this conversion.

Any update on this? Just wondering how it's going. I have an 89 YJ 4.2 laredo originally with the same set up, OM617 turbo, 3 speed auto. The previous owner actually did the conversion and I'm still learning about it actually.

What did you do about the gas tank? I THINK the stock tank has a fuel pump that is way too strong for the set up. From what I understand you need to bypass this with either an adapter or bypass it all together and use no pump or a very low pressure pump.

Let me know how it works for you, I'm actually redoing some of the work as mine was set up for running veggie oil and the previous owner because of an injury had it sitting for about a year with veg oil in the lines. I am still figuring out the exact set up he made and may have to redo it all any ways.

Good luck, let me know if you have any questions, I maybe able to help or at least let you know how mine is set up.

working on getting the legal crap worked out now, i did the fuel tank sender the same way i did my ford, pull the sender out, remove the electric pump, use a piece of the old steel power steering line cut to the length of the pump, and clamp it on the hose that the fuel pump was connected to, basically replacing the fuel pump with the steel tube, if you wanted to you could braze it but the point is it just needs a draw tube, dosent need to be any more complicated. the engines lift pump pulls the the fuel just fine, just recreate what the benz had. take the filler neck out and cut the stupid flap thing out and weld it back together so the diesel pump willo fit in it.

running 31x10.5 15 tires, ratio is 4.10:1 like it alot, especially that it runs on used engine oil.

Yeah these things will run on just about anything, I just can't bring myself to do it. I just turned the boost up to 12psi on mine, big difference between 55-70mph. Glad to hear it's working well for you.
