Drill and tap can mess stuff up it's super easy go auto store where you got your oil pressure gage and find a fitting that hooked up to the gage you got.

Well I'm using the guage in the dash, your typical aftermarket oil pressure guage doesn't come with a pipe thread to metric strait thread mercedes adapter. I ended up adapting the black plastic line to a brass air brake compression fitting with pipe
Thread on the other end to be as to put the jeep sender on it. The plan on steering is a 3 inch lift with a dropped pitman and a drop track bar and custom trac bar.

I drilled and tapped a damaged sender I had from my spare turbo motor. Don't forget to use the location on the cyl head near the IP, not the thermostat housing. On my normally aspirated install, My engine sits higher than the radiator in the jeep. and the thermo housing sender location is not in water. Sorry only have a pic of the damaged sender before drilling

Does any one know off hand what size wrench is neede to remove the big fitting that the temp sensor threads into from the block? The one next to the injection pump? Not the sensor, but the bung that treads into the head.

Well for anyone interested, with three inch lift if you take the rough country trac bar that has the adjustable heim joint on the axle end and the drop braket that is for a 4-6 inch lift and run it upside down and cut away part of the spring perch where the steering stabilized mounts you get plenty of clearance to the oil pan and you get almost full suspension compression on the passenger side, that's with grand Cherokee springs and 3 inch spacers. Still have to construct bumpstops but working out well so far.

yea, its just about done, ive got the rear axle housing out getting the 4:10s put in, i figured out the shut down issue, i used the jeep cruise control cable coming in from the passenger side opposite the throttle cable, so the sliding end on the cable allows full travel both ways and can still shut down the engine with out the trottle linkage binding. alsp found a brush guard off a range rover for 20 bucks that i can modify and build a bumper from.

heres a video of the shutdown cable situation:

oh other thing, ive seen people build crazy down pipes with extreme bends to to clear the starter, what i did was lose the goofy flex pipe and the wird flange and bought thr T3 bolt on flange that mounts to the turbo directly and was able to use a regular 2 1/4 90 and weld it strait to it and it ran strait down past the starter.
