Finally got bored enough so I got around to turning the fuel screw up and wow did it make a difference. But it also got pretty hot and rolled black when I got into it from a stop...

So, I decided it was time to get the 12cm exhaust housing on the small h1c and loop in the '97 intercooler I've had laying on the shelf Hopefully the efficiency drop of the fuel screw tuning will be cancelled by the 12v intercooler. I guess well see....

I've peeled em off since but I've been waiting to touch up the paint and have the body guy adhere the C badges on the doors in there place... I'm sure if I tried sticking them on they'd fall off in the first rain

The wiring can be as easy as you make it... Make the motor crank, charge, and run in 4-5 wires, and throw a piece of tape over the check engine light.

Rearend runs the speedo, voltmeter from battery, coolant/oil sensors can be moved over to 4bt with NPT reducers, fuel level by fuel pump (just unhook power wire). I control the trans with 3 wires and 2 switches in the cab for overdrive and torque converter lock up

Only difficult wiring would be running tach through an aftermarket interface. Which in my opinion is optional. Can get a tach that runs on the alternator to mount and not bother with stock tach

How did the wiring situation work. Did your stock wires plug right in or did you have to do a little cutting and splicing?
