I did my swap with his adapter in a grand cherokee. The question I have is about transmission noise. All of the bearings and synchros have been replaced trying to fix the noise. I have tried two different new clutch kits. The trans is very loud in neutral until I push in the pedal or push the shifter against a gear and the noise goes away. It is louder than the engine. I just wanted to hear from anyone who has used this combination.

 

I am running the koch adapter and I have the same exact noise. I've had mine together for about 10000 and have had no problems. It never gets any better or worse. Sounds just like a engine knock but no idea why.

 

sorry to be off topic. but what did you do for front end clearance with the trackbar, and the steering drag link and pitman arm?

 

I cut the oil pan to clear the drag link and I bent the track bar so it would clear the pan and the axle.

 

I just cut my pan today. Do you have any pics of your cut oil pan?. I am going to make a new track bar from scratch
