I acquired a Ford Ranger Diesel XLT long bed last month that had not been driven in a couple of years....after a break job,new brake booster, changing the oil that looked like chocolate mud and tightening the oil pan bolts....it is running but has a leaky injector pump that I am going to pull. How do you set the timing on those trucks as the manual says ATDC = 2. ALSO interesting to note that the truck leaks more now that there is new oil.....only could figure that the gunk that was in there was so gooey that it kept the seals......any help would be appreciated.
