Ford/Cummins/Allison.....New Project........
this....
with this in it....
with this behind it....
I would use a V10 truck but after thinking about it, the diesel's already have a spot for an intercooler (going to use a banks or spearco unit) and i wont have to mess with the fuel tank and all that BS, and there is less than 1K price difference between the gas and diesel trucks and whats nice i can sell the powerstroke and tranny for like 2-4K and make some money to fund the project, the motor will be somewhere in the 550-650 range with twins and all the normal goodies from Woodruff Diesel (no use going into detail we all know what it takes to build a 600 horse 12 valve), it will have to be streetable cause this will be my weekend warrior truck to pull a big gooseneck trailer with the pulling truck ill be building on it, I would use a full billet Suncoast 6 speed Allison purchased from Diesel Dawgs Performance (you can thank me later Luke ), ill mate the factory ford T-case to the tranny cause i like the Ford cases better than the GM's, slightly lifted on 20's and 35 inch tires and custom paint fro ma good friend.......i figure i can buy a nice new truck for 40K then have to spend 10K to get it where i want, when i can build what i want for about half that......discuss......
