hey fellow diesel lovers! i am wondering what pieces of the factory fueling system can be retained? can i use the factory fuel pump as a lift pump or no? or could i use them both together or would that blow right pass the factory cam bump mechanical pump? thanks a lot for any help

 

no you cant use the factory fuel pump too much pressure this is what i used works great

stock lift pump at 2200rpm 110 gph at 8psi

New 140 GPH Electric Fuel Pump | eBay

remove pump and put a piece of stainless line for your pickup with a stainless screen on the end I found a screen at napa that worked fine
