Default This Would Be A Fun Project

This isa truck my freind has at his house. It is a 1984 Chevy 4 door extended cab with a 366 and 4 speed manual. My brother was looking at this and thinking about buying it and putting a Cummins 12v in it and also repainting it and putting stacks on it. Sure would be cool to see this thing in one color and rollin coal down the highway

It'd take $20k to make it look decent and do the swap but it would be a sweet rig when its done. Dang sure more work than I'd like to do. He's ambitious.

Depends on your skill level and your ability to dig up cheap parts, the right person could do it for well under 10k I'd bet.

I totally agree I just did a complete and very clean 79 F250 extended cab 4x4 7.3 diesel with a banks turbo and a 5 speed , power windows and locks and a 9000 lb winch for just under 5000 that includes buying the 79 and the donor truck , I also have a gear vendors for it . All I need us the exhaust brake and paint. It all depends on your skills both mechanical and shopping.
