Engine has been checked off, but what would go good behind it? Man. or Auto? For a future project on an 82 Chevy Scottsdale 1/2 ton 4x4 reg. cab long box.

4BT with a Turbo 400........im putting a 6V53T Detroit/5 speed Allison in my 3/4 ton Suburban 2wd........

I put a 4BT with a Getrag/Dana 300 setup behind it into my 82 Chevy 4x4 Stepside.

I would say deff go manual!!!
