I got an 82 ford f150 with a 351 w 2x4 and i want to convert it to a f350 with a diesel am i crazy and anybody got any ideas.

 

LOT LOT LOT OF TIME and MONEY.

i'd just sell it and buy an f350. its cheaper bud

 

Thats what alot of people tell me but i like the body style of the 80's model trucks and ive found most of the running gear for under a thousand dollars the engine swap and the question of is the frame hona handle the extra load was the big issue. Its gona be a work truck.

 

the 80's through 1997 1/2 tons up too 1 tons all looked the same, the differences where in the frame and chassis. Just sell it and get a one ton.
