Default perkins in a ford p/u

hi i was wondering how hard it woud be to put a 6.354 or a 4.236 perkins diesel engine in a 76 ford f-100 pickup i've thought about other for it if you any ideas or thoughts will be welcomed thanks.

The hard part will be mounting a power steering pump and getting vacume to the brakes it would be cool though! All depends on your fabrication skilll

ok next ? for you, what would i need to do to bolt a automatic trans to it or am i going to have to put a standard trans in it? and do i need heavier springs in it?

How much does the engine weigh? And does it have an sae bell housing on it? And what type of flywheel does it have?

I have a 79 crew that has a 354 in it. It had a spicer 5 speed behind it it was a crude conversion but I just bought the truck because it was clean and an arizona truck. That engine weighs around 1100 lbs.
