Default turbo failure

Ok My turbo on my 2004 6.0 powerstroke took a dumb on me i took to a diesel shop and they told me 900 to rebuild they said i had metal in bearing i just replaced the oil cooler i think that might had some to do with the metal and put a bipass filter on coolant and oil i was wanting to know does any know were to get a used turbo or the parts to rebuild my stoke turbo cheap im trying to do for as little as 500 because money is tight right now the truck is used as a daily driver and hauling stuff things nothing like what the truck was made for

You can get one from Tousley Ford for $960.... Check out ebay, always a couple on there and also rebuild kits on there.

rebuild kits are cheap.... you can always pick up a used turbo
