lb7 dmax no start after new injectors
hey guys i just finished putting all 8 new bosch remans in my truck as well as a nicktane fuel filter/ cat filter set up as well as changed all filter o ring over to viton seals.
ive been priming the crap outta this thing with the bleeder off on etc with no luck. Im getting a little fuel out of the bleeder but maybe a drip nothing much. the primer never gets hard you just pump and pump and pump. i tried cranking the truck doesn't even try to start. Is their anything else i can do as far as pressurizing the tank or any thing? im at my wits end?
Their is no diesel in the oil to my knowledge.

The primer should get to the point to where u can't pump it anymore. Did you disconnect the crank position sensor and can sensor while doing the job?

I'm not sure about those two sensers I did connect everything I disconnected. Am I supposes to fill the filter with diesel before install the instructions on the filter told me not to.
How can I pressurize the tank or force bleed this ? Any way I could use my midyvac vaccum bleeder??

ok so i got the truck started it runs good, i ended up going back to the old filter think i was getting air with the nicktane.
no more smoke but i still have a woodpecker noise that i got the day before i tore it down for the injectors. i got shitty diesel the day before so i chalked it up to this. it sounds like its coming from the passenger side valve cover and it comes and goes. i have a video of it before i took it apart but im not sure how to post.
sounds like either the passenger valve cover or near the turbo. if you stand on the driver side you can barely hear it. if some one wants me to send them the video pm me their email.

Quick update. I changed the oil got the nicktane adapter with the catfilter on. Noise still there I took it around the block and when I got back I held it at 1100 RPM and the noise seemed to get louder with engine speed. I then pulled the serp time belt and revved it up and I can't hear anything except maybe a little injector tic.
I was listening through the passenger wheel well and it sounded like it was coming from the vac pump with the belt hooked up, so for 80 bucks I'm gonna try changing it. Don't really have the time right before winter to do the egr delete so well see what happens after I change the pump tommorrow.
If this doesn't get rid if the noise im in mass if anyone wants to roast marshmallows on my truck in the front yard. Stop in.
