All the gears in my ZF 5 speed tranny ('88 drivetrain in an '87 F-250 with a 7.3) are whining real loud except for fourth. I can buy a used tranny cheaper than I can buy a rebuild kit. Is the ZF that was in the 460 model the same as the one in the diesel?

 

i'm not sure if that one is the same but i do know there are 2 versions of the ZF 5 speed, i do how ever have one from a 94 7.3 4x4
