5.9 12v cummins with a mind of its own
Im working on a 96 blue bird school bus with a 5.9 12v cummin. It will start right up when it wants but some times it will just crank mainly when its been driven a lone drive but now it dose it frist thing in the morning. It's got me stumped dose any one have any ideas?
is it super cold where u are? cuz if its been doing it just now in these recent months its because of cold air. the air might be too cold to ignite the fuel. a lot of people get confused when it wont start after the engine is warmed up after theyve shut it off like at a fuel station (personally i keep her running if im no longer than 10mins or so stopped somewhere), its the cold air going into the head. trying pulling it into a warm garage or a spritz of ether will do er
no smoke when cranking

I understand its a fule issue but what i dont get is that if you let it sit it will start on frist crank when you try bout 30min to an hour later.
