Default HIGH egt's after new transfer pump
was always around 300 at idle, changed pump and it climbs to about 900 then backs down to 630 at idle. why? please help must haul in the morning

That sounds super high for idle... Are the RPM's the same?

Could be the sensor or the gauge or bad ground...

FIXED ! It was a bad ground on my Edge. Cleaned all up and good to go. Thanks !
