Default 01 CTD lots'o'smoke and not much power

I have an 01 ram ctd, it has been blowing lots of smoke with a noticable lack of power and serious power lag on takeoff. I have uninstalled the programmer and boost fooler to try to eliminate aftermarket component failure as the issue. the only other aftermarket parts are the fuel pump, the turbo, and the exhaust. I am thinking injectors, but would appreciate any input or other ideas. it still starts, drives, and runs just fine but fuel mileage when towing is 4-5 mpg less and power is diminished. truck is an auto tranny with no serious mods. all add-ons are in my sig.

thanx for any input.

How about boost? Sounds like a boost leak could be possible.

I'd bet boost leak, check your boots to make sure they are not blown off then make a pressure tester to help check for leaks.
