Default Attching a selflocking nut to the exhaust manifold

Bombers, please help! I'm getting crazy here.
I want to reattach the exhaust manifold to the block. Manifold is fitted with 8 self locking nuts. All nuts are easy to attach, with the expection of the one below and behind the turbo.
I have nearly every tool, but I'm not able to put this nut on to the stud.
I bought the thinnest rachet ring spanners available- no chance to fit the nut onto the stud. Any ideas?
As soon as the nut is on the stud thread I can proceed, but until that???

Sometimes a problem is solved by the one asking the question.

A shoe lace in the diameter of the stud 8mm super glued to the tip of the stud did the trick. The nut was sliding on the lace into position. I was able to thread the nut onto the stud with the fingertips.
One heavy pull and the shoe lace was removed.

Exhaust manifold is tightented to the block!
Hopefully this helps one fellow bomber in the future.
