Default air in system

NEED HELP!! Replaced head gasket on 6.5 turbo. All seemed to go back together good. Having problem getting it to start. I think I have air in ip and lines. Got fuel to filter ok. Been cranking engine for a long time now, dosen't seem to even try to fire. I left lines loose until I began to see fuel and then tightened and have continued cranking engine. Not even trying to fire. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need truck to get back to work.

Try turning over engine while cracking each line one at a time. Kinda like bleeding brakes. It's never a good idea but when all else fails I ad a shot of ether always a last resort tho haha
