Having trouble with power in my 94 powerstroke, when at 50mph and slow down then accelerate I get rough engine feeling and chugging sound. I also checked my waste gate and when I purged it engine oil came out, what causes this and is this my power problem? Expecting to go camping next week and I would like to resolve this issue. Thank you

 

How many miles on the truck?

Are you lugging the motor when this happens?

Also, you do not have a wastegate. You have a exhaust back pressure valve which could be leaking oil out of the bottom of the turbo pedistal, but that should not cause a run issue.

 

I don't understand what you mean by lugging the motor, it does it when I accelerate slow or fast between 40-50mph

Sounds like you have a tranny issue from the discription, but its hard to say.

 

Tranny has 3k miles on it and havent towed anything, I personally think I have injector problems?? CSIPSD what would cause oil to be in the pressure valve?
