Default NEED SERIOUS HELP

I cannot get my truck to start. I was trying to wire in some auxillary accesories (gps, radar detector, satellite radio) in my 06 dodge. I tapped in to the back of the fusebox at what I thought was the cigar lighter (on with ignition key forward, and back, like stereo). When I ran the wire inside the cab I turned the key on. Everything comes on like normal, but will not try to start, just dead when I push forward to the start. check engine light flashes. Checked the codes using the ignition key, but nothing came up. Please help, I need the truck to get to work tomorrow. I have unplugged the batteries and I'm just letting it sit.

unhooked the tap without any change. Let the batteries sit for a while, with no change

I have an 06 as well, and there is a strange electical issue with them when you blow fuses, normally from a trailer short but you may have reproduced the same effect. I had to pull each and every fuse in the block. You have likely shorted another out like your ingition fuse or such. In the end I had to have that entire block replaced twice so far. The block itself has a fusable link reset in it. Mine sticks open and draws 12.8 volts all the time. Undo your tap, leave the batteries unhooked, check all your fuses, and by time you are done it should have reset if this is it.....

good luck!

No, you will have power to everything and when you turn the key to the start position nothing will happen.

Sounds like the relay is not getting power. When you tapped into the block did you accidentally move a relay?
