01 Dodge Possible Gelling Issue? Lost Prime
-15 last night, had winter blend, and a double dose of Howes in the tank. Started up like a champ this morning, ran fine for about 2 miles, then died. Thinking I had a gelling issue, I doused the tank with 911, checked the filter, and cracked the low pressure line at the VP-44. When I cycled the FASS I got good fuel pressure, and normal diesel fuel, not gummy stuff or thick diesel. Cracked the HP lines at the injectors, bled it out, and started it. Ran for about 15 seconds then died. Verified low pressure supply, lots of clean diesel. Cracked HP Lines again, same deal, bled air out, truck starts, runs 15-30 seconds smoking white like a b**** then splutters, and dies. Did this several times until I froze my but off and came back to the house to try to find some other ideas! Going back out soon to check for codes, and do it again if no VP codes pop up. All Ideas Appreciated in the mean time, my brain is in overload mode, and steam is coming out my ears!

Thanks for looking, found the issue. There was gelling going on inside the VP44 shutting it down. Warm sunshine does wonders, and my VP44 lives to fight another day
