Unhappy 2007 Dodge Cummins, No Rail Pressure While Cranking, Not Starting

My truck like the title only starts if I drag start it. The rail runs 800-1200max wile cranking. Im gonna call the local shop monday. I plan on getting a fass 150 system wile its there, and having the injectors checked. Im thinking that this is a CP3 pump issue but wanted to here others thouhgts? Ive been running 2-stroke oil at aproxx 100:1 ever since I had to replace all 6 injectors about 3 mounths ago.

Sounds like a fuel problem such as the Lift Pump

Fuel filter?
Why did it alert "rail pressure to high? is there a safety relief in the CP3?

well if it is the P.O.S. lift pump then that is gonna be taken care of with the fass system.
My fuel filther was changed when my injectors where fixed.

The rail pressure too high and fuel dilevery error Ive seen before they are a resault of the power puck, it indirectly adds 2000-2500psi of rail pressure.

My thoughts:
P0336 - Extended crank intervals with no start. This will clear itself with unhooked batteries.
P0088 - As stated because of the programmer. This can be a BIG problem. I'd be mindful of that one but it has nothing to do with this current problem.
P0148 - Likely, lift pump. But could be CP3 related.
P2149 - Your injectors are still not working as they should. Check all connections of fuel lines and the electricals under the cover as well as the harnesses for loose, dirt or other obvious signs of issue.

These are my 2 cents.

I'm voting for injector and CP3 problem, I'd most likely say the reason pressure is staying low is injector related? have you checked the oil for fuel? Could be a lift pump, Always start cheap! can you hear your pump running?

I can hear a pump running, not sure which one but I think its the lift pump. Also if i bump the starter the fuel press goes to 6-8. I think ill have a oil analis done and see what turns up.

Ill let the diesel shop look into that. Plus if it is injector related hopefully the shop will cover it, since I bought the injectors from them.

With the recent state of these events I would caution the following:
1. Dodge will not do any oil analysis unless directed by corporate. Having 6-8 psi on a CP3 is very normal and acceptable pressures.
2. Yes, but Dodge will be very relucant to do this. Seldom to they pull and test injectors (again corporate must approve) and if you take them to an injection shop and expect that Dodge will cover after said service, you are pushing water up hill.

I am not trying to be negative but they are difficult to get to do real work on the injection system on these trucks. Most dealerships may not even have a qualified diesel technician which should scare you and you should prepare yourself with all the information you can get before attempting to state your case. This may take a while so be very patient and stand firm.

Good luck.
