2000 DODGE 2500 NO START
Ok guys so here goes, 00 2500, Banks powershot kit ( yeah I know it was there when I got it). When I tried to start it this morning , nothing, the starter didnt even click. The resister on dash side clicks as does the one in the box under the hood. Any ideas? I cleaned the battery connections at the battery which were not too bad but a little corroison and even gave the starter a little tap ( old school thinking here). Finally it cranked right up like nothing was wrong. Any ideas? i was going to start with cleaning connections really well. Suggestions?

I would start by checking the starter wiring and terminals for loose/bad connections at the solenoid
what was the outside temperature when you tried to start the truck? I have seen starter solenoids not want to engage in cold weather because they get stuck, and since you "tapped" the starter, there is a good chance that was the problem... also could have been a loose/bad connection at the solenoid

It was probably 20 something outside. The truck had been plugged in and was sitting all night. I will check the connections to those but sounds like I may be in for a starter change huh?
