Default Air Dog out????

My air dog fuel pump has stopped making the noise when i turn on the key everytime.it's the origianal air dog system it's made the pump noise everytime sence i'd had the truck now nothing! did lose power on the highway yesterday for about a 1/4 mile, it didn't die but no throttle acellec then it just picked back up. thought it might have been cuz it was -6 here yesterday morning but then noticed no noise from my pump.truck seems to be running fine still though. Is it time for a new air dog???? Oh and i don"t have A fuel pressure gauge in it yet. Any help or thoughts would be apprecatied.

Try this. Bump the starter, but don't crank the truck. And leave the key in the run position and see if you can hear the pump running under you. It should cycle for about 20-25 seconds before shutting off. Plenty long enough to hear if its working.

Locked the motor is my guess... Pull the back cover where the gears are for the pump and see if you can spin the motor by hand. Probably fired the vp up when u were on the highway when the pump quit...
