I have a 2007 6 speed dodge ram pickup 2500 that won't start. The truck ran fine all day then after being parked for about 2 hours it would not start. All the lights, fans, and radio work fine but the engine will not turn over. Also the remote key will not lock the the doors.

clutch safty switch would keep it from not turning over...dont know what would keep the door lock from working...unless possibly you have an aftermarket remote start?....then that could possibly cause both problems?

i'd say try roll starting it but i don't even know if you can roll start a diesel?????

 

yes you can roll start a stickshift diesel

 

sounds like your key fob is fubar and the security system is acting like the truck is getting broke into. Lock and unlock the truck a couple time with some time inbetween them with the key only and then try to start the truck
