my 6.0 was starting hard when cold took it to a shop they told me the ficm was bad and rebuilt it after that was done they told me the icp sensor was bad i wanted to do that my self so went and picked it up the truck wouldnt throttle up after the shop had it but i got it home and replaced the icp and the harness now it will start after lenghty trys but no matter how hard you hit the gas it wont go above 1000 rpm what do i try next?

 

if it would throttle up when you had it before the shop got it and now it wont i say the shop messed something up

 

try puting it in gear and power braking it. if you still get no power and black smoke.try cleaning or replacing egr vavle turbo mite need cleaning to .

 

sounds like the ficm is still dead.
