Default 99 7.3 Chugging

I have a 1999 7.3 PSD, auto, 4wd with 197,000 miles. When I fired it up to leave work tonight it fired right up and began smoking and "chugging". The smoke was white or grey and smelled like kerosene. When I came to a stop it would begin to feel like it was going to die, when I'd rev it up a little the smoke would throw a black cloud out and go back to grey. Has a louder knock to it while it's chugging smoke than the regular diesel clatter. Anyone have any ideas??

I just went out to put my code reader on it and theres no codes but when I tried to start it the starter engaged and it wouldn't even roll over, so am I looking at a new motor??

Right, I shut it down. My wife came home while I was under the hood and I fired it up to show her what it was doing and it started right up and chugged smoke again, I shut it down and scanned for codes. No codes. About a half hour later I tried to fire it up and it wouldn't even roll.

So heres what I'm thinking.... Over fueling for some reason. One of the injectors dumping fuel and got a hydro lock going. I'm going to try to roll the motor over by hand to not bend a rod trying to roll it with the starter and if it won't roll then start removing injector and inspecting them for missing tips or cracks and try to roll the motor with each injector out and see if I get a bunch or diesel in the bore or not. Am I on the right track?? Maybe scan the perimeters and see if the coolant temp sensor isn't reading like -40 degrees and causing the computer to dump fuel. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

More then likely you broke a nozzle. I would do a compression check on the motor to make sure you dont have any further issue.

Yeah CSIPSD, I've yet to pull the injector, by the time I get home from work it's dark, I'm thinking I lost the tip too, I just hope it's not embedded in the top of the piston, hopefully it exited out the tail pipe and didn't hurt the exhaust side of my turbo

I'd be more worried about the valves then the turbo, turbos are tough.
