98 dodge 12 valve sudden no start
Bought a 98 dodge 2500 extended cab shortbed and drove it all today a couple times i had to touch the pedal to get it to idle when first started and other times it would crank right up. Now it wont start at all and it has tried to crank 2 times would fire up then die as soon as key turned off. I need this truck goin asap but dont wanna send it to a shop

First thing to check is if the fuel shutdown solenoid is pulling up all the way.
Does it start if you give it some pedal? When it starts what rpm does it idle at?
What is the outside temps? You probably dont need winter fuel in Tx correct? Have you put fresh fuel in it? Have you changed the fuel filter?

Foound that te solenoid wasnt pulling up. Charged the battery and turned switch on and then pulled it up by han and cranked right up. And now it starts everytime. What would cause that?

Your solenoid might be out of adjustment. You can take it off, clean it up and readjust it:

If your boot is torn, you can buy a new one or you can make on from an old bicycle tube and a couple of cable ties.
If you need a new solenoid (which you may) you can get it here:
