you know the peddle feels different then when it did before, like the throttle cable is streached... nut idk if that would cause it not to idle?

I know I messed mine up one time adjusting the idle. But it was sticking when I was on the highway.

This may help:

Ram Throttle cable replacement

also, have you checked your idle screw?? Maybe the locknut backed off or you forgot to tighten it back up?

You should be checking your fuel pressure.

If your injection pump hasn't been rebuilt that may be it, a loose driveshaft seal can cause that idle dying. Increasing the fuel flow improves it enough to keep it running. If you can take the timing cover off and get a look at the pump pulley look for fuel coming out. If you can see fuel the pump needs to be rebuilt.
