We determined that he was driving too close to a Dodge and that's what caused the malfunction.

Yep, didnt want that Dodge funk rubbin off on the Cadillac of trucks.


Just got an update from John (Diesel-N-Dust), it was the proverbial injector harness issue. Easy fix.

Yeah there was a short in the injector harness. Dealer charged me $220.

When the harness shorted out, is there a danger of ruining the PCM?
I bet that would be an expensive fix.

I don't know of anyone losing the PCM because of an injector harness short.
