P2262 (i know, i know, but this is different)
So I know there are a million support and help requests for clogged turbos and we all know how much the 6.7 kills them. However, I haven't seen my problem yet so I made a new thread!
I have 07. 6.7 throwing this code. That being said I have FULL power and the turbo is still clearly heard when accelerating.
What I have noticed is that my exhaust brake no longer works. Light comes on within the button and when it Tow/Haul the transmissions downshifts hard on deceleration like its going to kick in the exhaust brake but I don't feel it and it makes no noise indicating its functioning.
I have the EGR deletes and removed the dpf threw muffler with SMARTY ME.
Where does this leave me. I'd really not like to look at the mil light for the rest of my trucks life, and I don't want to cause any more damage if that's possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
