I just put a new clutch master cylinder in my 96 psd and put dot 3 in and its not working. The clutch pedal goes all the way to the ground like there's no pressure.

I helped do this once. We ended up with it all out on the tail gate bleeding air out of the new master cylinder. When we talked to the dealer (this was in 98) they said they replace everything with a preassembled and bled unit. There were no bleeders on the master cylinders. a PITA.

On the right side of trans mission. I am having trouble remembering, I have not done it in awhile. you have to loosen up the tube to bleed the clutch master cylinder it will get messy. it is where the fluid from the clutch goes to the transmission, to engage the clutch. that is the only place I know to bleed the clutch at. let me know if it works?
