So the other day while i was hooking up to my trailer i noticed some black smoke with a little tint of blue puffing out of my exhaust. My mileage is fine power is fine and everything seems to be running fine. i have no blowby or anything else that seems abnormal. is this something to worry about? i did notice that at take off under a load or not even under a load she will blow smoke. not bad at light throttle but heavy heavy black cloud under lots of throttle. i figure thats because of my mods though but the smoke at idle has got me a little concerned. could it be an injector starting to go out? i have 130,000 on the truck and i think they are still the stock injectors any help would be appreciated. thanks

 

Have you checked your intercooler boots?

 

Yes they are all tight and also I have a fass so no fuel filter
