Default 2004 dodge cummins boost?

Have bully dog gt diesel programmer and I can only get 27lbs of boost, How can i get more boost!!?? Would a boost fooler help? Or is this all that I can get with the stock turbo? Exhuast is on its way but for now al that I have on it is a fass lift pump and the bully dog GT diesel programmer. What should I expect from this setup?

Did you install a boost elbow on the compressor on the turbo? If not, then you need to. This will bleed off air pressure to the wastegate actuator and allow the turbo to build about 35-38 lbs of boost.

No I have not yet installed a boost elbow, I have looked into that option a little. How hard is this to do? and which one would you prefer?

SImple to do, just pull the brass fitting out of the compressor housing that feeds the wastegate and install the new elbow. Done. Like 5 minutes.

I appreciate the help, What is a safe pressure to run my boost up too?
