Odd, fuel no start problem
Hello all, welcome to my nightmare, So may not have been the best choice, drove my rig down the the bone (fuel gage) just a tad above the red mark, pulled in fueled up, off I go 1/2 mile later, and after an slightly embarrassing attempt (went weak in the pedal, some turbo but nothing to write home about) to pass of a loader, my truck just shuttered a bit and died, open up the hood, have 9 pounds when I bump the ignition, Do have fuel at filter, DID have small spray with 3 cracked open injector lines, have checked all fuses, this truck will not even try to start, cranks and cranks,,but no fire, what next? APPs, a different sensor, more eletcrical hair pulling? Any help needed.
Thanks Pappy

Might also drain some fuel into a styrofoam cup if its got gasoline in it will melt cup pretty rapidly since this happened shortly after refeuling. Not to imply that you put gas in but have encountered stations that had a heavy gasoline contamination in there tank

Now as exciting as that is, the solution was fairly straight forward, I was going to drop the tank, having done it once before, I was sure I could do it in a short 3 hours, then it dawned on me, truck has a pump, and system in place to do what I need, so after 56 or so, "bumps" and lots of extra gas containers, I drained her dry, refilled, changed filters, cracked the injectors, took all of 30 seconds for the truck to fire. A tip, if your needing to drain your tank in this method, be sure to open a draft every so often (gas cap) lets needed draft in.
Any rate I consider this closed, thank to everyone.
