Symptom
Rear Dump Solenoid Shorted - EBC-2

When Monitored:

1. ABS power relay closed.
2. Valve command for a particular solenoid present (trying to turn the valve on).

Set Condition:

3. High feedback voltage from the low side solenoid.
4. Criteria 1-3 satisfied for over 200 milliseconds.

Possible Causes

* HCU 4-WAY CONNECTOR OBSERVABLE DEFECT
* HCU 4-WAY CONNECTOR/HARNESS OBSERVABLE DEFECT
* HCU ASSEMBLY DEFECTIVE

Symptom
Number Of Tone Ring Teeth Out Of Range

When Monitored:
Ignition on.

Set Condition:

1. At least two of the three values for number of tone ring teeth are not in the range between 90 and 130. If only one value of teeth is out of range then the value of the other two will be used. OR
2. If all three teeth values are not in agreement.

Possible Causes

* TONE RING TEETH VALUE INCORRECT

CAB stands for "Controller-Antilock Brake" basically your anitlock brake module. it's most likely located under the hood near the master cylinder. if you have to replace this the correct axle and gearing apparently needs to be programmed into the the new one.

it's not all that important that you do these, IMO.

test the components for the codes you have and repair/replace as necessary. the system will clear the codes once it's repaired.... or at least it should.

Well just to let everyone know last night we were supposed to work on it but ended up just sitting in the garage drinking beer and talking about fixing it.... Oh well at least the evening wasn't a total waste - the beer was cold this time...
