GETRAG PROBLEMS
I have a 92 w350 dodge with the getrag 360 i was having trans gear jumping issues it jumped out of 2nd all the time, figuring this was a bent shift fork or bad syncro a rebuilt the trans (all new bearings and syncros) well 2nd got better (not fixed) and now it also jumps out of 5th part of the time. Any ideas here would be helpful. Shift forks looked fine when i inspected them.

I don't know much about the getrag but I have worked on a lot of manuals. There is a couple of things it could be. You have a d tent that the sliding clutch rides on that could be wore. The sliding clutch could be bad or the locking ring on the gear it's self could be bad. I might have got the names wrong on the parts. I just know how they work and guess at the rest.

you need a new top cover i believe. that is a fairly common problem with these problems. mine did that too slipped out of 2nd and then it jammed itself so good in 2nd one day i broke the shifter trying to get it out on 2nd. slapped a new top cover on it and it was good to go

That could be. Now that you mention it I know a guy that had one doing the same thing and he keep driving it. It finally got bad enough it was hanging in gears and got in 2 and 3 at the same time. It didn't like that. I don't have any experience with the jetrag mostly with old Muncie rock crushers.
