Default Is it the transmission or torque converter

I have a stock 97 RAM 3500 w/automatic transmission, 98,000 mi. The problem is that it slips when I take off from a stoplight occasionaly. Appreciate any ideas or suggestions you may have.

torque comes to mind when you talk about slipping but might need to have some adjustments made https://www.dieselbombers.com/diesel...ion-issue.html check this out and see if its what you want to try and make adjustments or if you dont feel comfortable take it to your favorite tranny shop
