Loud Blowing Noise
Last night while towing my cousins race car, my 05 dodge, started to fall on its face while pulling a hill.
now I can hear a loud blowing noise when my rpm reaches about 2,000.(it sounds like it is in the glove box.)
I pulled my S & B intake off, and checked the boots, along with the inter-cooler boots. they are all fine.
I can only get boost up to 20 psi,
any Ideas.

You can make a pressure tester for a couple bucks worth of PVC pipe and glue.
If I remember right it's 4" PVC that the OD on a fitting fit's right into the rubber boot at the turbo. Just loosen the boot and pull it off of the turbo side and replace it with the tester and apply air pressure.
You can use any kind of configuration you want for the tester as long as it's sealed when your done. In my case I used a 90 degree elbow, a 6 Inch nipple and a cap. Drill a hole in the cap just big enough to fit a replacement tire valve stem into it. Use JB Weld to seal the valve stem in place. This allows you to install this pipe onto your system and pressurize it to locate all leaks.
This is for a second gen truck and I assume everything works the same on the 3rd gen.

If you wanna really find all the leaks use some dish soap in a spray bottle and spray it over the entire system while it's pressurized. Any leaks will show up with bubbles just like checkin gas lines. This will find small leaks.
even the factory replacement won''t be plastic, Dodge realized their error and quit using the plastic and are replacing the plastic ones with the aluminum ones as they blow.
