Default 95 Powerstroke just chugs

I have a 1995 Powerstroke with the complete Banks upgrade( chip, turbo, inter-cooler, exhaust, transmission cpu) it has 157K miles on it and i just bought it 6 mouths ago and love this truck would not trade it for anything but this is my first diesel and don't know much about them but in ran great purred like a kitten. 2 weeks ago the truck just shut off when i was driving it to work was able to start it a few minutes later. but after that point when it is at idle it just chugs and it seems like it lost most of its power. it will start OK and it dose freeway speed i have replaced the cam positioning sensor. I changed the oil, i changed the fuel filter. now i am not sure because i did not look at it a lot i was sure that the exhaust temp used to stay around 300 when i was not pulling my 5th wheel but now they seem to sit around 350

no it wouldnt, your other cylinders would fire and eventually bring them all up to speed, it would lope when you started it as well if you had more than one bad glow plug. that would also produce some white smoke when you started it.

dark as in black smoke?
