Get a pressure guage (any kind of pressure guage), remove the 1/8" NPT plug on top of your oil filter and screw the guage in or better yet get some line, 1/8" npt fitting, some dot approved air brake hose (1/4" or 1/8" will work for you).

If you have oil in the crankcase you should have pressure - unless of course you oil pump died but I have never really heard of that happening on a Cummins.

Our 92 had a sender go bad when we were 400 miles from home on a delivery. I put a mechanical gauge on to confirm that it had pressure and replaced the sender when the trip was over. I worked for an auto parts store for 13 years and although it is rare sometimes the new senders can be defective. The other possibility is some trash got into the hole in the new sender preventing oil pressure from getting in.
