Default AIR DOG ISSUES, HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so I've got an Air Dog 150 on the truck in my sig. Tired to come home from work today, turned the key on and I didn't hear the pump prime. Checked, and the inline 20amp fuse is blown. At first, had no fuel comin to the line that feeds the VP44, so I replaced the fuse and cracked the line to see if I was gettin fuel. PLENTY, but as soon as the pump shut off it blew the fuse again and sounded like it was stuggleing. So, I'm at a loss and have no idea where to go from here. Has anyone else had this problem or have any idea what my problem may be? Thanks if advance.

Any other symptoms? like: pump louder than usual or getting hot? has the fuel pressure been normal lately when its operating? Is the pump motor getting subjected to water intrusion?

only difference in the sound of the pump I have heard is that it sounds lower like it's under more of a load. fuel pressure has been normal, and the pump HAS NOT been in a siutation where it would see any more water than normal or be submersed.

Well AF1 it seems like the pump blowing the fuse on shut down has me stumped, that doesn't make much sense unless the relay is internally grounding out or fuel pump motor reversing polarity on shut down. High resistance is a possibility too as ohms law states when resistance is high in a circuit it usually gets higher current readings which blows fuses.

Well I've talked with Air Dog and they're going to warranty the pump. They need a serial number off of it though, I can't find one anywhere. They say it's stamped on the pump housing but all I see on it is a sticker. All it could be on there is some series that starts with a letter, so I'm kinda at a loss there.

It should be on the block where the pump and filters meet.

This is what the plate looks like (I have the same pump)... If your pump is on the INSIDE of your frame rail then you wont see it because its against the rail!!
You can see mine because its on the outside of the rail.

The number is stamped on the bottom of the plate.
