Default 97 PSD CHUGGING N SMOKING

I started my 97 F-250 a little bit ago and it started chugging really bad and blowing white smoke really bad. I have it chipped and and straight piped, b code injectors, super duty Idm,10k, fpr shim. I drove the truck about an hour before with no prob. smoke has a diesel smell and sometimes its black. any ideas? Im thinking maybe injector o-rings or a stuck injector.

no it keeps running like crap after it warms up. when i get up to speed it sounds and feels normal. what do you mean by blew an injector? while running it makes a pop pop pop sound through the exhaust when idling.and my egt`s are around 1400-1600 at 65 mph.I`m about to pull all my injectors and rebuild them. I`m planning on pulling heads and studding them and turbo and hpop upgrade.

Bill is the owner of PHP, DPP is one of his dealers.

I'm not sure a stage 1 stealth (I assume it's a stealth) is enough for B codes, and I'm pretty sure they need more turbo.

That said, you could be havin an issue with one of 'em. And if that's the case, I'd strongly advise you to look at something along the lines of a 238/100 hyrbid injector to replace them. I definately wouldn't put B codes back in it.

The intensifier piston on a B code requires more high pressure oil to move the same distance as a stroked A code or a hybrid. And more surface area needs to be filled before the injector even starts movin. At high RPM's they suck to make consistant, even power with. And I dunno if a stealth stage 1 is enough for a B code. Still think you've got to much injector for the rest of your set up.

What kinda fuel system do you have for those B codes?

B codes require a lot of supporting mods, and with what you have on the truck, it would run WAY better and make more power with a set of hybrids. Could be your cousin made a poor injector choice for the supportin mods he had in place.
