Got a 96 Ford powerstroke and the damn thing has been running rough but well last few weeks, today i got in and started it like any other time and i had a mild surge, nothing to worry i thought cause itsdone it before, got about half way home, bout a mile then it died.


not getting oil pressure readings from dash gauge anymore and no fire, im afraid the lpop may have broken but cant afford another, also had added a oil treatment to the block ths morning maybe the oil is too thin... any ideas for testing the pump directly would be nice.

the truck wont start when cold so i need assistance asap

Tested oil pressure, none at pressure port, found heavy diesel fuel thinning in oil, did oil change but unable to replace oil filter on site, truck on trailer now will update findings, ideas are still welcome

Truck fixed, oil filter failure and ether got it to relight, 48 hours and alot of money for tow later yall were no help
