Well you should have every wire marked out with the diagrams i sent yall, just gotta decide what you want to do now

also i believe you were using the dodge light switch. so therefore the dodge light switch should control the gauges to light up correct? you would just need to supply power to that switch. those wiring diagrams arent even close to complete enough for this project and i really dont know how well ill be able to help you away from the truck. this might be something for a local electrician

i also would need good wiring diagrams for a complete ford system as well to know which powers were outputs for fuel pump and coming out of the ignition switch and whatnot. if you want to just run the fuel pump off another toggle thatll be alot easier. i can probably help you to get it electricaslly ready to run, but getting everything else to work isnt something i can do over a computer

are you going from a complete dodge computer harness into the cab and trying to give juice from the ford ignition switch to the dodge computer? or do you have a ford electric fuel pump etc? its going to be very hard for me i have no idea what wire your using and where its going to and from.

Yes complete Dodge computer and harness into the cab while using the Dodge gauge cluster too. And yes I want the Ford ign. switch to turn on the Dodge computer. My fuel pump is an Airdog 150 off on the frame, it just connects into the stock Dodge fuel pump plug. I just want the Dash to light up like any other truck when you put the key in and turn it to ON....the gauges sweep to their readings and the odometer lights up.

Yes I'm using the Dodge light switch so it plugs directly into the Dodge under-dash harness. The Dodge light switch just turns on the head lights and controls the dimmer.

You shouldn't need anything from the Ford, primarily because there is nothing Ford left in the truck (electrically) its all Dodge besides the ignition. That's why I keep saying I'm just trying to get it to be like hot wiring, the switch on the column will just be a simple toggle on and off as with the starter, only place it gets complicated is when it sends the electricity into the harness.

We're just replacing the Dodge key with a toggle switch (connected to the rod that moves forward/aft when the key is turned) and a momentary switch for the starter.

are you using a dodge steering column or a ford steering column?

either way you just need to get 12v power from the ignition switch to the computer and gauge cluster. i dont know what color wires each one of those takes as i dont have the diagrams for them. but they should just need keyed power from whatever ignition switch your using

if your using the ford ignition switch, use a test light to see what wire sends out 12v keyed ignition power, put that to your computer, fuel pump and main power in on the gauge cluster and you should be good. i wish i could physically get my hands on it i could be alot more help that way. i just dont know enough about how everything is setup in the truck to try and guess. sorry if im being confusing im just trying to figure it all out

you might not even have to supply power to fuel pump if its a factory dodge plug in. if you supply the computer with power it might automatically feed power to the fuel pump

Yes the Fuel Pump will turn on thru the computer. So I just have to run a 12v line from the battery, to the Ford ignition switch, then the output wire that is live when the key is in, should go to the computer and that's it?

What about using a momentary switch for the starter but using it to just connect the wires under the dash instead of having to ''hot wire'' them and touch bare wires to start it lol

correct. find out which power turns on and off 12v from the ignition column when the is turned. send that power to main input wire on the computer, the headlight switch, and the gauge cluster. the wiring diagrams will tell you which color wires do what for those modules.

and i would at least put a switch in for the starter. NEVER leave open wires laying around under your dash. thats how you burn down the project youve been working on.
